so my fuel and temp gauge just stopped working i was wondering if you guys had any pointers or any tests or wiring digram. looking in this general repair book i have for old cars and it shows these two gauges going through the voltage regulator was wondering if that was true or not i have a 1969 dodge dart with a 273ci with a auto. any place to find wiring diagrams online for free or a good site i can pay for to look for this stuff

thanks matt

well found some info on other posts:read2: about some nuts that hold the power dist. board to the inst. cluster causing this so i pulled out my gauges and cleaned the terminals and it seemed to fix it now i was wondering were to get the bulbs and holders for the inst cluster i broke a few

I can't say for sure but seems I read here that NAPA stores carry the bulb sockets.

the bulbs are 194LL. at least that is what i put in. My napa told me to go to the junk yard for the sockets. So i went to a dodge dealer, they told me about another dealer that had some older books, so i went there. They looked the number up, didn't have any, but gave me a list of all the dealers within 100 miles with the number they had in stock. so i called and ordered what i needed.

i went to napa they did not have any for my year but had some for a 70 dart they fit and worked so if any one needs any just look up for a 70 dart and napa will have them

The bulbs or the sockets ?
Never had trouble finding the bulbs but I've never seen the sockets anywhere but at the swap meet (with swap meet vendor prices)
Just wondering , Thanks !
