I have been looking for and after market replacement for my fuel Filler Neck (Non-EEC, vent at top of neck), but haven't been able to find the right one, I'm only finding the EEC ones.

But I found a 1969 Valiant replacement on Classic Industries website, and it looks almost exactly like mine, except the end of the tank vent is slightly different.

Does anyone know if this would be a good replacement?

What if you used an EEC neck with appropriate cap, and installed (brazed) a barbed fitting at the top of the neck to serve as the vent?

I'm sure that would work, but I don't have the skills to do so and would have to rely on someone else to perform the work. It's not out of the question but if I can replace it with the one I found, that would be my first choice. Thanks for the suggestion.

The Classic Industries 67-69 Dart/ Valiant fuel neck should work with your 70 Duster if the dimensions of the neck are the same. If the neck dimensions are the same then you would probably have to use the vent tube from your Duster because it looks different. 70 non EEC A-Bodies use the same non vent fuel cap as the 67-69 cars. This is the one out of my 70 dart. I replaced it with a restored one and reused the vent tube out of my car.

Just exactly what IS wrong with your original filler? If it is just tubing rust, maybe it can be repaired.

You can't tell from the picture of mine but the tip metal was loose and a lot of it was rusted away. DusTed70's is probably in similar shape. New A body filler necks weren't available 7 years ago so I bought one from a guy who had some he had restored.

Sorry for the late reply, been busy the last couple days with Xmas stuff.

The actual tube isn't too bad, its the piece of flat metal inside the tube that is rusting and falling apart.

Thanks for the reply, that's probably what I will have to do if it is a lot different. Luckily my vent tube seems to be in good condition.

Why don't you just post a Wanted ad here... you might find one, that's how I got a nice one for my 70 Dart. Be sure to show some pics of your current one so you get the right configuration.
