Whats a good one? Im running to much pressure and need to lower it.

if you have a high gpm fuel pump you may want one with a return on it to eliminate deadheading (i.e excessive noise). I had some problems and had to get one that had a return port. Still have the old one if you're interested...

its a carter strip pump its only suppose to be putting out 7 1/2-8 1/2 psi its mechanical

did you put a gauge on the system? 7 should be the normal reading for a street car. 9 would be pushing it. Don't want to wash down those rings

The 803 set at 6.5 psi is what I'm using on a Carter high flow mechanical feeding a 750 DP'r. No problems.

ya I just bought it, im going to get the fittings tommrow and will install it

Here's how I installed mine, there's no weight to it so I plummed it right into the fuel line just downstream of the filter and added the pressure guage on the unused outlet port. My fuel line is rigid from the fuel pump outlet right to the carb.
