I just returned from a quick run from 31548 (South East corner of Georgia) {on Monday Evening} to Dallas, down I-35 to San Antonio, and back to 31548.

I left with gas prices on I-95 as $3.26 regular and $3.34 for premium just North of the Florida border.

As we drove west gas prices trickled down to as low as $3.06 regular and $$3.49 for premium. -in Northern Louisiana on I-20

Gas was as low as $2.99 in San Antonio and on I-10 in Louisiana with premium around $3.3X

The premium gas prices were rather consistent-slowly changing over distance while the price for regular was all over the place.

As soon as we entered Florida on I-10 on Friday night, prices jumped up to $3.19 for regular and a slow increase as we traveled back East. Premium was as high as $3.70+

We stopped in Tallahassee, Florida to stretch our legs at the Mall and found this yellow 1966 Plymouth A body convertable-you will have to tell me the difference on how to tell a Valiant from a Dart or early barracuda when it comes to these 66 and older cars, because I am not completely sure. There wasn't any other info on the car or the December auction for it that I could find in this Tallahassee Mall on the south side of I-10. Maybe another Fabo member could shed some light on this for anyone else interested in it. the car had an orange small block in it with some aftermarket pieces on the motor. :)

Who's going to auction off the car and why? Will people be able to bid online? Did you get a chance to look it over real good for rust or accident damage? Does it run and drive?
Thanks, Mark

http://www.shoptallahasseemall.com/contact/ <-this is the web write-to web address

-this is the best i can do, but there has to be a FABO member near by.

-this is 250 miles from home, and i am working over 18 hours dailey getting ready for deployment- won't be able to check it out but maybe once before i am gone, my guess is that this a Christmas auction. The engine had a later model AC unit as far as i could tell which leads me to believe the car runs. I did not look in the wheel wells for rust. The paint looked either original (mostly garage kept for years -maybe new ownership) or was repainted many years ago. the interior and the exterior paint i would list as "dailey driver condition." The orange small block paint should tell you something, i think 70's small blocks were blue- but i am not an "Original matching numbers" kind of Mopar guy. the pictures honestly show you how much I looked at the car. I had 250 miles left of a 2550 mile round trip and was exhausted/burned out.

I am the blind leading the deaf here-sorry brother-Good Luck! I bet nobody bids much over $2K -probably much less than that. I can't imagine having an 'advertised' auction and then having a reserve or renegging the display/auction. The seller probably cannot get a good trade-in value for the car or price for it.

again good luck

Good, maybe a member close by can take a good look at it and let us know the answers to all the normal used car questions.

Condition: Although best effort is made to adequately describe faults and issues, Manor Auctions strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder. Descriptive text regarding the condition of items / lots are for guidance only and should not be relied upon as statements of fact, and do not constitute a representation, warranty, or assumption of liability by Manor Auctions. Bidders should complete all due diligence they feel necessary prior to executing bids. As it pertains to condition, all lots are sold "AS IS". Manor Auctions does its best to accurately assess the condition of each lot.

Authenticity : All single lots of coins, jewelry, diamonds & gems, named manufacturers, art, militaria and composition type / material in the description are guaranteed authentic. Bid with confidence.

Absentee Internet Bidders: Manor Auctions strongly encourages bidders to execute realistic absentee bids if they have a serious desire to successfully win the lot. LiveAuctioneers will bid incrementally on bidder's behalf, only to the next highest increment necessary to successfully win a bid on the lot. This means if an Internet bidder leaves an absentee bid of $1000 on a lot and competitive bidding for the lot stops at $650 - the Internet bidder wins the lot at $650. Leaving realistic absentee bids ensures bidders the opportunity to successfully bid on lots they desire to own.

Live Internet Bidders: Due to differing Internet connection speeds and the pace of the live auction, Manor Auctions strongly encourages bidders to bid quickly during the live auction. Lots are sold at an approximate rate of 60 - 70 per hour. Hesitation in executing a bid via live Internet bidding may result in a bidder losing the lot if the bid is not received quickly enough. Again, bidders please bid quickly and DO NOT HESITATE while bidding live during the auction. Once a lot closes - it WILL NOT be re-opened.

You sure are talkative on here......maybe I should just post here instead of trying to call.

Don't feel bad about gas prices.....
I left Jax Friday morning, was in Houston 2am Saturday....920 miles
Left Sat night and got home about 6 pm tonite.

Driving the company's Ford Econoline Super Duty box truck and my car trailer.
Loaded up a friend of the boss and all her stuff including her RAV4.

18,580 gross weight coming back. 7.3 Power Stroke got 11mpg @ 3.95/gal cruising at 72-75 mph.

Just glad I have a company fuel card.

Hey ladies/gentlemen, I know this is a reach but I was wondering if anyone here might know how to find out where this car went to...my wife's family lost it when her grandfather died and she has a lot of memories tied up with it. We weren't in a place where I could do anything about it financially then but I'm hoping to bring it back into the family if I can find it for her. Please pm me or post here if you have advice/leads.....I have pics of my kids sitting in it if verification is needed for some reason. thanks...

Not a big fan of those aftermarket seats and trunk treatment.

Kinda says "I'm now worth a LOT more...so bid accordingly (and quickly)".

Wonder why zero bids.

On another note, local gas has been hovering around $2.00 for 87.

High has been $2.05 last week, and low is $1.97 last night.

News story this morning was downward trend of -.20 since last month.
