-

No its not but I sure would like to own it for a winter project But Im doing a 1967 GTX right now to ready for spring Thanks

A 340 car with three pedals and minimal rust (at least on the right side)? It looks like it is optioned pretty well. Stripes and vinyl top. The front end looks straight like it's never been hit. I would need to see more pictures but yeah, I'd say that is a pretty "nice" starting point for a restoration. @Dan the man

Like some of you, i don't see rust in the quarters, or under the doors or front fenders. This appears ( without seeing the other side) as a pretty easy rebuild. and for a numbers matching ( not sure about tranny ) not a bad starting price. I would try and bargain them down, shipping depending on where you are maybe add another grand. maybe less.

I don't have the space for a project car. I'd have to rent a place big enough to take it apart for painting, the passenger door would have to be re skinned or replaced. I figured that it would take 15-20k for a restoration how close am I on that? I have a friend who would paint it for me so that would help keep the cost down

Yup 5500
Spend 30k
And you will have a 30k car
Unless its a gotta have dream car
Not an investment

What's up with the classic car market? I've been seeing cars dropping in price. If that duster was bought for 5k and it took 20-25 to restore it would it be a investment?

None of these cars are investments they are a hobby.
Even the idiots who gambled thinking there's the new investment when stock market was shot to hell. Took a bath. They found out it was not an investment.
It's not a capital gain. Everything went up, "everything" It's inflation. A $3000.00 Toyota now cost 30k
So a normal person should understand that a $3000.00 Duster,Dart or Demon is now 30K too.
I can't still get gas at $0.49 a gallon
A can of Carnation Milk was on sale on an end cap for 2 bucks.
These cars never were an investment. In 1978 we bought cars for $800.00 -$1000 bucks and put wheels/tires hot rod parts and we're upside-down on the value of the cars too. It's was also a hobby then. Nothing has changed.
