Sounds like you've got plenty of helpers around!

Yeah, tell him to get those brakes and wheel studs in there!!

My Chocolate Lab is great helping me under the car, but he has a difficult time getting into the engine compartment.

He gets more than his fair share of treats, that's for sure.

He must have got distracted when it came time to do the brakes and wheel studs.. Labs are great!

Gunner looks like a good guard dog. And that's a sweet looking Vette!

I like dogs. Lets see more dogs with cars.

Mine prefer to sleep rather than helping in the garage. The old girl needs her rest; we believe she is 14. The little two wouldn't be much help anyway. They are good for letting me know when a visitor shows up. I can't even walk in the house without it sounding like an alarm is going off.

My Westies Sammy and Luna aren't much help with the car but if I mention the words "car ride" they both come out of the woodwork excited as heck to be coming along. Luna's all of 8 months old and she learned those words very quickly. Both immediately go to the rear passenger door whenever we go out.

Sammy makes a decent watchdog. I was sneaking round the back recently to make sure I'd locked the patio door off the deck. He was in the house somewhere. But he knew someone was lurking around outside and came charging to the patio door with a very big bark for a little guy. Then he saw it was dad and he stopped dead, looked at me through the window, tilted his head, then turned around and went back to whatever it was he was doing. My guess, sleeping.

Here's Leo the Lab helping me wash the Barracuda today! We got him when he was 6 months old from a couple who decided they didn't want a dog with so much energy. He and I used to jog 4 miles 3x a week. He'll be 9 years old in April and we're both down to walking 2 miles a day. I love the big guy to death!!!!!!

The Rhodesian Ridgeback we had before our current one absolutely loved car rides and knew when he could go and when he couldn't.
If he saw me wearing long pants he knew it was a weekday and I was going to work. He wouldn't even get off the couch.
But if he saw me wearing shorts and then heard the keys jingle he'd beat me to the front door and you'd have to reach over him to open it - while you were getting half beat to death by his wagging tail.
I would always leave him in my truck with the windows down if I had to go in the store for something. At just under 100 pounds all he had to do was sit there and look out the window. Nobody dared reach inside for anything - even though he was as gentle as he could be. He just looked intimidating.

I'm planning on finding out in the next few months.

Leo is a lucky guy. I need to take my dog on more walks. I can't wait to take him for a ride in the Duster when it's finished

Thanks Ryan...Leo says hi to your Lab!!

If I don't get him out for our walk by about 7:30 pm, he's up in my face staring at me until I relent and grab his leash. It's good for both us so I'm glad he does it.

My boy doesn't have a car to work on or guard yet... Still in the body shop. But he's practicing his guard dog face. (boy... wish I could get photos to work...................)

Man I'm a sucker, every time I try and get my dogs to work on the car they always use the old,

"I Got No Thumbs Dad".

Lying little Bastages. Vacation is OVER!
