I dynoed a small block last week, and thought maybe you guys would like another HP/TQ guessing game. This was a build that the customer wanted to supply as many parts as he could, and didn't want to spend much money, apparently. Anyway, I did what I could with it, given the circumstances. Breakdown as follows.

Stock stroke 360 + .030"
Used cast crank
Used stock rods, resized
Used Probe forged dished pistons
9.48:1 SCR, 7.35:1 for you DCR guys
Speedmaster as cast untouched heads
2.02"/1.60"
[email protected]" hydraulic roller cam
1.6:1 ProComp rockers .555" net lift
B3RE Geometry Correction
ProComp air gap, port matched
750 Holley DP
1-3/4" Super Comp headers
91 octane pump gas

What do you think?

470-480 torque peak @ 4600-4800 torque peak...
Depending on lobe centers?...:.. 6000 -6400 r.p.m...about 460 -480.....

Some good guesses here, but some are giving the "untouched" heads too much credit. They ain't all that right out of the box.

The LSA is 110, installed at 105. The application is for a 75 Dart with a 904 and 3.55s. Mostly street, occasional strip.

How much is it then?

Holy cow! It's only been 12 hours since the original post, but I'll spill before the end of the day. I'm just curious what others suspect it should make.

Holy cow is right!
Common how much can a 365 make with a little 227*/110 cam, and 7.35 Dcr, and OOTB heads. I thought I was high at 365/395. Ok I'll throw in the peaks; 365@ 5350 / 395@4000
GeeWhiz I hope I don't get too embarrassed............

That should make around 390-400 HP and 415-420 tq . Those heads aren't that good OOTB. J.Rob

Just can't handle the nail biting suspense. I have a feeling I'm right....

I'm going half way with RAMM on this one.

I'd bet close to 400 HP but the torque will be 375-380ish.

I've done a couple of speedmaster heads for BBM's and they are capable of doing good power but they take some work.
