Thanks guys, its pretty cool to log in and find that people take the time to wish u well.
Yes, my name is Justin. I've been into cars/mopars since I was 15 and bought my first car for a dollar and a joint..lol... It was a 1971 dart swinger w/225 A/T, bronze w/blk wht interior. It was wrecked in the front, motor seized and trannys slippin...I had to put this car back together , build the motor, the trans...and being an eccentric person...I built a hot 225 , ported head, headers, cam, etc....in the rebuilding of this car...I went to a place called turnners auto wrecking and became good friends with the owner Jerry Turnner. Jerry is a top notch guy who took a liking to me and let me roam his yards by myself to find any and everything I needed for my cars...he would always get on his radio and tell his number one locator to come pick up "the lad" and take him out to Mopar row and there I would stumble across 68 chargers that came with slant 6/4spd...or 340 convertable darts, hemi cars...u name it, and of course I was still learning ..so I never thought anything of those rare things that were slowly picked clean and or bought to restore....still find sure grips in the carrier piles he has, still finding ho manifolds and rare casting heads...I have spent so much time in wrecking yards, learning, , tuning, listening to people I've gained much respect for ..like my good friend John. Trial and error doing it myself and proving so much true or untrue for the sake of people like myself early on who hadnt the ability to test or ask someone who really knew...so many people out there just parrot or curtail someone else...
I could tell a long story, but ill end it there. Since then I have traveled all over cali working on peoples mopars, and get asked to go thousands of miles away to work on the east coast...ill think about that ;)
Anyhow...I love this hobby and I love the people in it 'most of them at least'.lol
I have made many friends , many enemies, and many friends out of enemies...
Thanks to Adam,Rob,Joey for hanging in there, for I can be a bit too much sometimes...hence my screen name.
My b day is in January... I just haven't changed my profile since I created it, which is another thing ...I'm sure there are people who disregard my advice and or service all because we differ in political view, or do we? I don't like this 'person' , not the entire party...think about that.
