Good morning all,

Been lurking around for a while now and finally have a reason to post. Working on a 68 Dart and I am putting a 318 Magnum motor in. I originally wanted to put the Hedman block hugger headers on but they are back ordered for what seems forever. Anyone have any other suggestions? Looking for something that will go in fairly easily. Summit (sum-g9064) and Doug's (dou-d460) make shorty block huggers for that engine but I have no idea if they will fit/work. Anyone have any experience with these? Couldn't find anything in another thread that answered my question. I know the hedmans for with some creative tubing work.

Thanks for the help!

Forgot to add that the engine has Edelbrock heads and is injected not carbureted and the car will have power steering.

Anyone? The project is stalling on these headers right now and if I can get by with something else I would really love to so the project can keep progressing.

Thanks gents. Trying to avoid the TTIs just due to cost but they might be the ticket. Hadn't looked into the Doug's. They work pretty well?

The Hedman block huggers worked out well, haven't hooked them up yet but they fit, almost, like a charm. I had to clearance one of the engine mounts on the block a little on the passenger side under the collector to get them to fit properly but it was a small price to pay. The engine is installed and in the process of plumbing everything up. I will try and post a couple pictures soon.
