Hello everyone I hope all is well.

My name is Randy and I own a 1972 Dodge Dart.

The Dart was left to me by my Aunt who passed away a few years ago.

I've been slowly gathering parts(explains the gold hood) and have been getting ready to really do something with her. The car, sadly, was in a wreck so I am still straightening out the front end a bit. The car has 92,000 miles on it and all while severing as a grocery getter for my Aunt. The interior is almost perfect other then wear and tear on the carpet. The body needs some TLC and the motor needs to be yanked and rebuilt, but I know how lucky I am that is all that needs to be done. I've grown up around this car my whole life and it is a true honor that it has been passed onto me.

I'm happy to be here and have heard great things about this forum from some local car shows.

Welcome! Gotta dig 72's! Just and FYI AMD makes a bumper and front valance for your car now. Look for ward to seeing your progress.
 
There is no better way to keep your Aunt's memory alive than to restore her car to the beauty that she once was. Good luck on your build!

BTW I'm "borrowing" the more-door saying that is just awesome. Once upon a time I was kind of bummed that it was a four door then the thought hit me of a guy my size trying to get into a two door car rear seat after a night of drinking...not pretty.

I had the bumper and front valance off when I took the picture but the one thing I'm looking for is a grill that won't cost me an arm and a leg and the neighbors kid.(just kidding)
