Hello All,
Steve from Marion Iowa here. I have been asked by my Uncle if I would be interested in his 63 2 door post Valiant. That was a no brainer. I am the current care taker of another family vehicle, a 53 Studebaker 1/2 ton that has been in the family since new. I have gone thru it leaving it as close to original as possible. My plans for the 63 are about the same. It's only original once, right? The Valiant has spent most of its life with my uncle in Glendale Arizona. It ran when he put it away about 7 years ago but he hasn't done much with it since. He is 83 now and is wanting to open up his carport for his daily driver. My current quest is trying to find a transporter that can take care of loading a non running car and bring it over to eastern Iowa. Any leads would be much appreciated. I have been lurking on the site for a little while and am glad now to be part of it.

@HemiSSDart is a member that was doing transports. Just an FYI there are websites for shipping brokers. You go on the site, put in your information and transporters will bid against each other to get your load. This will help you keep the cost down.

That's a 1530 mile transport on an open single trailer my normal charge would be $2600 but if I had a transport from the midwest to Phoenix it would be about $1000 cheaper...

Search the site for "FABO transportation network". Sometimes, you get lucky and a member will help you out. Not often, though. LOL

Welcome aboard. We love pictures. Hint, hint. lol

Good morning Mike, Steve here in Marion, just wondered since I am new to the old A body Mopar gang. Are there any area Mopar clubs that you are aware of? I am a member of the AACA in Cedar Rapids and a member of the Hawkeye Studebaker Club but would like to join a good Mopar club if there are any.
thanks
