home depot sucks

The pin was a flag that also said "UNDER GOD"

ok then i am now a home depot lifer. :snakeman:

That makes about 10x more sense. Thats not getting fired over an american flag, thats being fired over pushing your religious views at people while working at a company that prefers to remain neutral. Some people(myself included) would find that button kind of insulting to what america actually stands for.

I work for a company that will remain nameless that got some serious political heat during an election. We've been strictly told that political bumper stickers are against policy. So if i ran out and slapped "vote for X" on my work truck..being fired would be a reasonable action for them. I would have nothing to gripe out.

Actually, and I'm not defending anyone in anyway here, but Home Depot is hardly "politically neutral" having given a lot of money to pro-homosexual groups for years. Not trying to spark a debate as to if that's right or wrong, just stating that Home Depot is hardly politically neutral. Even listing a Home Depot Pride group on their website for gay, lesbian, and transsexual members:

https://careers.homedepot.com/cg/content.do?p=diversity

and here's the link for their PAC

http://ir.homedepot.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=63646&p=irol-govpoliticalactivity_pf

so, hardly politically neutral.

You see, even his hand is so sick of him, it wouldn't give him any. So he has to stir shtuf up to try to get his jollies.

Also, I proudly work for Toyota. I love mopar and if you ask anyone that knows me. I am considered a true mopar fan. Who gives a flying (radio edit) that I like Toyota too. How narrow minded are you? Do you not see anything else? I think you Mr, have tunnel vision. Believe it or not, Ford and even GM did make a few cool cars. Even crazier than that. So does Nissan, Toyota, and Honda. Then you have the exotics. Ya, I would totally take a Porsche. Does this make me none mopar? No!

The Home Depot thing. It's sad. It really is. But the guy didn't follow the rules. Something that if you had any kind of education, and worked anywhere other than your current job flipping patties at McD's, you might know. Management has to follow the rules. If someone doesn't, bye bye. Who gives a crap though that they have a Toyota Nascar, Like its got one damned thing on the car that is Toyota anyway.

Have a good one. Looking forward to your response that we'll never see as you are to chicken **** to do. :)

So you must find the all mighty dollar offensive? Take a look at it, read it and remember where you live! If that were the case, Home Depot and should not accept cash because of what it says. "In GOD we trust." I do believe that is one of the principles this once fine country was founded on.
