OP made a great choice, 650 thunder will serve him well.
That being said, I disagree about Holleys not being reliable on the street.......
I ran Holley's for years and years without issues. I had to replace (2) 600 eddys on one of my Dusters to get rid of a "bog" when flooring it out of the hole because this Duster challenges carbs. Why? Home-ported heads, bigger than stock cam and..... 2.76 gears/stock converter. How did I fix it?
old 670 Holley Street Avenger I pieced together.......
Gotcha, partner! At your word I will quickly go remove both of mine along with the few I have around and throw them away at once!!Holleys worse carb they ever made.
just for you.... me breaking in a new cam ...... and lookie what's on top! An eddy...Google Street Avenger peeling corrosion.

longer bolt and a couple of nuts.... easy as pie. on the order of this, bad video sorryHow did the trans pressure valve leaver end up connecting to the carb? That's next for me.

340strokes is a subcontractor. He makes good money and has nice stuff and let's other people get greasy and dirty. I'd be highly shocked to find out that he's doing any more than talking about adjusting a carburetor and probably doesn't know a jet screw from a idle screw.
And to the original poster just so you know who to listen to watch how many people agree with me....

..I see your still jealous oh well, maybe someday but I doubt it..Know what you're doing? Oh, you mean like when you used a stock intermediate shaft with an HV oil pump. Yeah that kinda know. I get it now.

.that one always gets me,people have been running STOCK intermediate shafts in performance motors for years..but when the oil pump seizes up that shaft could be made on kryptonite and it'll STILL snap..technical editor LMFAO

..I don't have a picture either, but the brackets should really only assemble one way. The best picture I have is in this video around 1.28.One more, I forgot to take a picture of the power steering bracket? (As it attaches to the timing cover)![]()

..
You're a jet screw! LOL you are going to have to remind me what I'm jealous of? Cuz I'm at a loss... FACT: My duster has less greese and dirt than yours! And obviously you don't know **** either jet screw..thats a new one
..I see your still jealous oh well, maybe someday but I doubt it..
Watch and learn the master at work! LolWho knew jet screw is perjorative? I damn sure didn't.
I'll add that one to my arsenal.
just for you.... me breaking in a new cam ...... and lookie what's on top! An eddy...
