I guess I could try to sneak in, but does anyone know the official entry criteria? I understand you have to actually be engaged in the automotive aftermarket business. Is that correct? I was thinking on going to the State Office building and filing paperwork for a company. Maybe 'Mike's Custom Wheels", or something like that. I'd file the paperwork and pay the fee. If the SEMA people were just looking for an automotive aftermarket related business license, that might work. If that got me into SEMA once, then in a year or two, I'd just make the company go away, and if anyone asked, I'd just say I couldn't get it off the ground. I hate to resort to something sneaky like that, but how else do you get in?

I've been several times myself, but that was when I was an Auto Parts Store Chain Owner. I was always under the impression that some one could buy a ticket , and walk in off the street, But perhaps I overlooked the restriction.

SEMA show being in Vegas on Halloween is reason enough to go. I stayed in the old Riviera that backed up to the Convention Ctr. Saw some odd machinery in the parking lot of the Convention Ctr, never put 2 and 2 together until the day I got in the truck to make the 6 hr. drive home. "Ratz! It's the SEMA Show!" However, between The Strip and Downtown and Halloween, it was WELL worth the trip. Annnd, it was my birthday gift to myself.

Funny, in my book, that would be two strikes against

Vegas on Halloween is a real hoot. Best people watching ever! Fergot one thing. The Bellagio at midnight the fountains and the National Anthem. Breathtaking is the best way to describe it.

If anyone is going be sure to wander through the AAPEX show as well. I can guarantee you will be sick to see how many automotive jobs have gone out of our country. Also going to the AAPEX show for several years its scary to see the improvements in quality. Will be damn hard to get those jobs back. Hopefully we get a tax bill passed that will keep the ones we have. Just my .02

I went one year we bought some badges from people leaving my badge said Jackie on it and nobody ever asked just flashed my badge.
