My dad had a 76 feather duster, it definitely had all the lightweight stuff, early model year build, had the /6, 3 speed on floor, 4 wheel drums 9" even) small bolt pattern wheels.manual brakes and manual steering.
I think that was the first car he had that he bought a set of factory service manuals for, and it came with a book of factory service bulletins.
I remember one service bulletin on particular, that told of disc brakes becoming mandatory on anything built after 1/1/76.
As much as I hate people mistaking both A and F body as being Nova's, I remember a buddy's (actual real) 75 or 76 Nova from high school days likewise still with 4 wheel drums..
Dad and my brother pissed me off because at the time dad bought that duster it was supposed to be my first car a couple of years later when I would get my license. In between dad drove it as his work car.
My brother totalled the car he had at the time and needed one "now". So that duster went to my brother instead.
