My 71 Dart Swinger started life as a /6 car but now sports a 340/727/8 3/4 sure grip. Suspension, brakes, and wheels are mostly aftermarket parts.

Thank-fully not Francois. Lots of work to get it to the primer stage. Been waiting on my paint guy for almost 2 years, giving me the chance to restore all of the sub-assemblies of the car.
'68 Barracuda, original 225, 903 column shift, 7.25 rear. Everything's original except for the hubcaps -- I took the wheel covers off and put these on. I just like the look better. First two pics are with the wheel covers it came with.
Is that LL1 turquoise?

Yes. I think it's my favorite color. No fender tag or build sheet, so I'm not 100% certain that's what the car came with, but old pictures I got with the car show it to be LL1 as well.
Original-ish. 66 Formula S, 273 Commando with an Isky E-4 cam, 8 3/4 rear(not original), Electronic Ignition with a Chrome Box(not original), 64-65 Hurst shifter, A-833 O/D four speed, original rear springs, rebuilt original Formula S front suspension, 16:1 manual steering, Bilstein shocks(not original), and Mini-Lites(not original) but I do have the original 14 x 5.5 wheels and Formula S hubcaps. Custom leather seats were done 40 years ago but going back to the original upholstery.

Mine is OEM, but not the original engine or transmission. Original engine had over 300,000 miles on it, rebuilt twice. The car has had two different engines in it since the car was restored. The first was a used one that came with it's transmission, that engine was replace a few years ago with a fresh rebuild. All were 273s in OEM trim.
Car has over 400,000 miles and counting so a change could happen down the road.

Not mine, but I'm working on a "one-family" car from NZ with original engine, transmission, rear end (etc), for a good friend of mine. Car was repainted in NZ before being imported here in the '80's, and with the exception of the interior seat fabric (NLA), the owner has kept everything as OEM as possible.

I bought this 69 340 Swinger new as 4 spd, got tired of changing syncros, and put a manual shift auto for consistency, been bored a few times, now out to 0.060, with a few sleeves over the years, turned 13.29 best back 70s, some hardware . Numbers matching except trans .
Needs wet sand and stripe .
Put a 4 speed back in it at resto, no regrets.
Bought the 67 GTS a few months ago, for resto with my grandson.

I started this thread to see how many and what kind of unmodified A body cars are on this forum. It is a big success. In 24 hours the thread grew to 2 pages and 25 plus unmodified Mopars came out of the shadows. The cars fell into 2 categories. First, the cars that came from the factory with a 340 or 383 V8 got some very good restorations. Second is all the rest of the A body cars that came from the factory with a slant 6 or a 318 and still have them. These Darts and Dusters were the vast majority of A body production and more of them need to be preserved. In my opinion, these base model A body Mopars have more style inside and out than Falcons, Mavericks and Novas.
I owned this one for a while, original slant, and power train, drove like a dream.
I should have kept it, but a friend talked me out of it. Bought it off this site, it was needing a little tlc, but it would always start, even after sitting outside all winter.

While not #s matching, this car has always had a stock 340 and 727. Also stock 3.23 open 8-3/4.
