I'm not done hunting yet but my hunting buddy Joe shot this monster buck Monday morning at 10:30. We have been after this buck for 2 years and last week it spent a couple of day at my blind but unfortunately I was not there due to other commitments. So Monday morning it walks right underneath Joe's stand and he shot it at 26 yards.
Here are the stats.
This is a huge buck. The live weight was 312 lbs on a digital scale. It was 189 lbs all dressed out at the butcher. The rack is a basic 10 with 6 small sticker points. The green scores are gross 183 4/8's. The net score is 177 7/8's. The only record book we had access to was from 1982 and the publication would put it at #4 all time in New Brunswick. I believe it will still make the top ten in the latest book. This is a once in a lifetime buck for anybody and I am really happy that the buck we had been after for 2 years, (after passing up some decent other bucks), one of us was able to harvest it.

ps: I am the guy on the right in the picture of the days 3 hunters.
