Hybrid doors ?

OK this is kind of an oddball question but I wonder if anyone's ever done this .
I like the cleaner look of the 73 + Dart doors externally but I dont care for all the plastic cladding on the interior .Plus the door handle always seems in the wrong place . Would it be possible to put the single window and mechanism from a later year Dart into a 72 Dart door after removing the window, regulator assembly and all the extra frame for the vent windows ?

Why wouldn't you just change the doors and weatherstripping to the ones you want? I think it would be a huge hassle to do it any other way.
