Can someone tell me what the stands for engine size on a 69 Dart I know what the charts are out there. I just can’t seem to find one right now . Don’t laugh

225 slant six is the standard engine for basic 69 Dart, Dart Custom, and GT with a 273 2-bbl and the biggest engine being the 318 2-bbl. 340 is the only engine for a 69 340 Swinger, and 340 is the the standard engine for a GTS but a 383 and 440 can be had...

Damm so it’s a 273 rag I’m looking at buying not a 340 car

If my memory serves, only Dodge used up the remaining 273s into 1969.

my 69 gt was a 273
my first car was 69 225 swinger
now my 69 vert is a 225 gt ....heard all 69 verts were gt or gts(340/383)

Look in the factory service manual .

It's listed there by letter and cid
