ignition HELP asap PLEASE

So now you need the ignition switch, and the key cylinder that you pounded the screwdriver though.

I tried jb welding the switch and left the ziptie on it

I let it sit for 10 hrs, it lasted three ignition hits, then broke :/

For future reference, 10hrs is nowhere near enough time for JB Weld. Give that **** 24 at least.

So, im not trying to be an ***, just making sense. Your car left you stranded in a parking lot where you tried to fix it. The jb weld didnt work as well as the zip tie. Just speaking for myself here but those 2 items would be the last thing I would want in my steering column. As far as that goes why would we even consider putting a used switch back in when one could be had for less than 50 bucks new.

I understand. Sometimes there just isn't money. Easy for some to miss. Just be careful. Car electrical is no joke. Bad things can happen. Take care and be safe.
