Have a 1969 dart with the ignition in the dash. Looking for a working ignition switch and starter relay.

I know I can get them online but figured I'd try here first.

Thanks!

I got both from autozone and they work satisfactorily so far , their starters , not so much !

They have ignition switches for 1969? That's a one year only switch. If they don't have one, I do. They make both a 5 terminal and 6 terminal version depending on the application. I have them with and without a lock cylinder and key. The relay should be available at most auto parts stores.

Is removing mine the only way to know which one I have/need?

Usually only takes a few minutes to remove it, but, if it's easier, just crawl under the dash, pull the plug off and see how many terminals yours uses. I'd recommend you disconnect the battery first either way. I assume you have the proper bezel nut, and that your lock cylinder is in good shape? What makes you think the switch is bad?

This is a thread I just started with my current problem.

Car acts dead after it gets hot...
