I tried everything.....I searched the internet for hours....

I have the US Car Tools K-Frame engine and transmission stand/dolly and the Alterkation square tubular K-Frame. Also have the adapters from US Car Tools for the Alterkation suspension.

I'm trying to get the suspension on the dolly to drop it out.

For the life of me I don't understand how it attaches. The adapters are VERY loose fitting to the K-Frame.

I just don't get it.....here's some pictures.

Adapter...

See how much of a gap there is....I doubt it's "wrong", I just don't get it...

Anybody ever done or have a picture or anything?

Is the car tool originally set up for a factory K frame?

That single vertical rod look sketchy to me lacking any diagonal gussets.

Those brackets aren't supposed to be super tight, just capture so the weight can be carried by the horizontal area.

Yes....it's designed for the factory K-Frame and I'm supposed to use the adapters for the Alterkation suspension....

Wish I could see a picture of how it works.....maybe I'll call US Car Tools Monday.....

The way those brackets are, doesn't look like they are sturdy enough to support the weight of the K frame with the engine mounted to it, that's for sure.
