This ost is to share a story and mabey get some info on a friends car from back in 63 and 64,the car im talkin about is a 62 2 dr sedan, red, grey interior,no radio, rubber floor mats, etc,my friend bought it off the used car lot at main motors in anoka minnesota in 1963,the car was raced at the 62 winter nationals, took 2nd place,oh ya it was a 3 speed,we used to ride around in it like a regular street car with cheater slicks, the last time the car was in use it had 1900 miles on it,im 70 yrs old now and some of the times we had in that car are still in my mind,it was dragged race for awhile locally but would blow up tryin to powershift the 3 speed from 1rst to 2nd,always wonderd how many of these where made as im sure it was made as a drag car from the factory,i think the guy prolly still has it as he had some hypo-mopars and never sold anything, his name is roger welter and i think he now lives in iowa, would be 70 plus tears old,its beenabout 40 plus years since ive talked to him, just thought ya might enjoy the story!!

Cool story. I used to see a 62 Plymouth MW car sitting behind a bar in Laurel Maryland. All the car guys said it was not for sale. I never asked. Just disappeared one day. Never learned where it ended up.

I can read your post just fine!! I also have lots of old stories about the "good times" in the good ol' days (1960s). I remember getting into my (older) friends '68/69 440, 4 Speed GTX. I thought I was gonna DIE when he punched it and went through the gears...I was only 17.

Usually, they only blow up once.

Cool story, though.

Gotta love those gear head Chrysler engineers from the old days............

try a little harder

Nice attitude!!!

So because you yourself are too lazy to put forth halfway decent punctuation and structure, you are now demanding the rest of us put forth our effort because you didn't?

You might want to rethink this strategy

Thanks for sharing! Since this is the Internet and not an English class, don't sweat the punctuation police.

The old max wedge cars sounded awesome. Good luck getting some information on the car.
