Intake/Head Gasket Question

I'm a bit late on this one, but my end cork gaskets are so damn think that the intake bolt holes are way higher than the holes in the head ! Eddy heads and manifold .... Looks like a bad of RTV for me !

if any of the oem surfaces have been cut, you can run into situations where the end gaps are too large, too small, bolt holes don't want to line up, etc.
I've seen some people in an effort to keep the end gaskets from squirting out (or in), center-punch the block surface. Myself, I've never had a problem with that happening if you use gaskacinch properly, or use second gen silicone and allow it to "skin over" a little before you assemble.
