Egads..... heresy I know.

Last fall I bought a core SBC 350 for the '95 dirt late model I have in my shop. I want to sell it...it has a lot of local history so I think it needs to be saved from the crusher.

I figure it may be a better seller if it moves under it's own power. So I gave $100.00 for a running 350 out of a '90 Suburban.

The cam I bought is a circle track grind.... unknown mgf. but it was a custom grind for a buddies dirt car. Just lumpy enough to fool an unsuspecting Chevy guy. $55.00 with the lifters. Solid FT.

That's the first 350 I've ever owned... not the first Chevy engine just the first 350.

I resisted the urge for 70 years... call me weak if you must!

That's pretty good, I'll have to go another 50 years in the hobby to break that record! Never had anything Chevy but I've only been doing this about 10 years. I will own an old Buick (or 2) at some point and/or maybe a Cadillac but that's the only GM stuff I tolerate lol. Wouldn't mind owning an old Ford truck either if I got a good deal on one or couldn't find a decent Dodge first.
