Got that "NO MORE CARS" Talk from the wife a couple of weeks ago...................... so I agreed!
But she didnt say anything about another engine. Yes folks the great Mopar Gods has shined on me
Through all sorts of trading, giving, selling at reduced cost to a certain family I know (Who has 340 parts) they surprised me
with a 340 block. Already machined and ready for building. First its going to my machinist for check out.
So let the fun (Headaches) begin....... I have concerns about Edelbrock 6077 heads and the quality control
issues as Reviews are not good on Summit. Project 340 needs heads so wanting something street N strip capable
Who has recently purchased Aluminum heads and why are they the best heads for the money???????????
Please advise Texas Red

My 2cents? Spend the extra bux and get Trickflows. I have now purchased 2 sets (actually I bought one set and my son bought the other) of Eddys and we should have gone with the Trickflows. The small savings up front is quickly offset by extra machine (shop) work to get the rockers at the right angles. That's not even talking about the poor clean up on the castings....

Bare speedmasters set up by your cylinder head specialist with quality components or assembled trick flows and have them double checked by your preferred machinist.

both sets mentioned have crossed the notepad.... Brodix heads will be $$$ but something they require are special rocker shaft assembly according to my research which are out of stock but with a price tag of $2270.00 (Part # T & D 8025) Trickflow will get a good look at.
Thanks Texas Red

Depends on your intentions for the whole build.
For a stock looking hot street head, if you're not adverse to iron heads, Indy has some dandy new casting 2.02 heads.
Stroker or serious horsepower would be any of the W series heads (P series if you've got money burning a hole in your pockets).
I remember someone making hemi heads for LA blocks a few years back- you'd be the only one around with those.
Otherwise the TrickFlows get my vote too.

Yes sir design designates the build. Street abilities out of all my builds is first. My 72 410 Duster engine has Indy W series 2.100 valve heads with matching single plane intake on it. I run a .491 lift solid flat tappet to keep it old school.
Thanks for your im-put the trickflow 190 CC have some nice features the head for the money. Texas Red
