K frame welding tips needed.

The k is out,everything is out.In the pic you can see were its been welded on the left side,I will have to grind it smoother tho.On the right side were i am pointing ,seeing its out should I have it welded even if it does not need it seeing its out now better now then laiter.What you all think.

the alignment is the most important thing. if it aint right, it eats up your lower c/a bushing, or makes it impossible to ge the t-bar into the end. the last time i did this job i left it un welded till i bot it in the car.i put it all together and tacked it up.pulled the t-bar back out so i could get to the whole thing at once and did the welding.
 
Go ahead and reinforce both sides.
I do it to all my Kmembers now.
I was over 90mph in my first Duster when the weld let go on me. The car took an immediate right turn.
Thank God for a wide shoulder where it happned.

While you are at it, you can add some stiffners to the steering box mount.
That will minimize the steering box deflection under load.
