is the kick down linkage the same for a /6 as it is for a 318/904?

No, I tried it, didn't work out too well, lol. I went to a junkyard and got linkage off a 360 and even that was a bit off.

go to the top of page and click search...the left hand side punch in kickdown linkage...you will find all your answers and more their :-D

If you think you might install a aftermarket intake and / or carb a Lokar cable kit will work with most any set up. Saves a lot of time and trouble.

I second that, I got that and it was literally a 15 minute install, saved a LOT of trouble!

Looks like I am not the only person wondering this!

Just got my Barracuda and it is sans tranny.....I am planning a 727 to mate with the 74 318 in the car...it has an edelbrock car band intake...and I have a bracket but not sure what it is from...so was wondering where to start.

I am liking the sound of the "Lokar" option so far....."15 minutes and easy" is WORTH it!

The Lokar kickdown is actually cheaper than the stock rod anymore.
