I grabbed the short burr as an example of what I’m used to using to quickly get rid of materiel. On the right is a Killer Carbide. The top picture is the three KC’s I bought. I put in about 2 hours on the grinder tonight and the KC burr is far and away better than the other style. It will remove material just as quickly but it is much more controllable. It is much less susceptible to troughs and leaves a much better finish. I’m going to send a couple of my worn burrs back to him to resharpen and then I’m going to order a few more. For aluminum work these are the cats behind.
