Anyone know if a regular speedo can be converted to KPH or would it be something that would nearly impossible to do??
You beat me to it. As for the odometer, that is an easy conversion. I can't see spending a ton of money on a conversion.Get the race re-decaled at MrHeaterbox.

The problem with just re-decaling the speedo is that while it may read speed in KPH, the odometer is still clicking off "miles"... I would think a more accurate way would be to figure out the % difference between KPH and MPH and regear it at the trans, or use a gear reduction/multiplier on the cable. That way the speedo & odo are both changed the same amount, and the existing numbers can remain on the face. ??

Yup I remember putting the decals on my parents cars, directly on the face if the gauges. Done and done. The math is already done via the decal, no new pinion gear needed if your transmission already reads correctly.
Sharing for future reference on this topic. This speedo came out of a 1968
