SO did another cubed steak for dinner tonight with mashed potatoes and gravy. This time in a slow cooker thinking it would be tender but no. Figured it out if you have to take a hammer to a piece of meat and beat it into submission it's best to leave it in the grocery store and buy a better cut of meat. Or I should learn how to cook I guess. lol

Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose with those cuts of meat. Same with the store bought stew meat. That’s my experience anyway. I’m lucky to have a fine butcher just down the roads within walking distance.

I loose and best find me a good butcher or a better cook.
