REMINDER: Daylight Saving Time begins in 16 days! Clocks spring ahead at 2am Sunday, March 9th.
The weather liar said we get an extra 3 minutes of daylight every day. Gotta like that.

Still a lot of weight and expecting rain on Monday. The insurance company won't even consider a claim if you haven't cleared it off apparently
You are correct, in my years as a mason I have found that the building codes are engineering correct, and are usually over kill. However they are not footing the bill if something happens. When I would install a wood stove I would tell the customer to bring me a list of their insurance company’s specs. Only thing I see is every time you shovel your asphalt shingle roof off you probably lose a year or two off the life of the shingles. Another reason every roof I have is steel even the outhouse lol

Started cleaning paint guns today and one done and 12 more to go. Not mine but the boss owns them and I'm cleaning them and he's going to sell them.
I have 2 Sata's that I use and good paint guns but I think it's like buying Snap On tools and it's the name that makes it expensive.

You should do a You Tube video comparison of a Sata and a Harbor Freight gun. I have seen some HF paint jobs that looked pretty damn good.

I've had a few Harbor Freight guns and they work just fine but, in my opinion they don't last as long in a production shop, but a one time complete paint job I'd take the Harbor Fright cheap gun.

I use a Harbor Freight 15 dollar gun with great results but like you said in production they will wear out fast. I have 10 on the shelf

Ya Cf they work just fine, just don't work using them everyday. But that's my opinion.
I would however be afraid of using a cheap gun on a tri coat color but never tried to.

Because they are so cheap I break out a new one for every cars finish coats then use the old one on prime and sealer for the next car before throwing it out

It is a good morning, and good morning to all. It’s not -4000 here sky’s are clear sun out. Was at a relic snowmobile run, show and

shine yesterday, this the sled my FIL used to ride. There were sled from the 60’s to1999. Some really flash in the pan companies, chaperel Evenrude. Don’t know how people even drove those contraptions. Was interesting though.

Shine and rise.

Hope to get the truck washed today, to get all the road grime off. Only issue will be that I'll have to listen to more "pretty truck" comments.

Have an 81 ford junker utility truck, not quite as bad but close. Have a roller magnet for the lot in front of shop, more truck stuck to it than nails and screws

Very nice and balmy 51* today, so I decided to get outside and do two engine swaps:

Hey, they’re engines, so that counts, right?

(Swapped an engine with less than 250 hours into my wife’s 700+ hours mower, and will sell the other mower on CL this spring.)

Probably very close in the work just the weight isn’t there, or the painted fenders.
