Partly, I have a tech showing up this morning, compressor sounds good and run's in heat mode (Heat pump), air handler and condensing fan motor work great, just need a tech to come by and show me what I am doing wrong on the T-Stat hook up :), thanks for asking Mark, I have blown two low voltage fuses and hooked three T-Stat's to it, and it was time to call a pro in
Morning and good thinking Mike. Better than burning the place down LOL

Morning Biff. I'm sitting here on the computer listening to The Traveling Wilburys and the rain coming down. Supposed to rain on and off all day but the grass needs it. The weekend will be really hot but it's also Canada's Birthday also on Sunday.
Happy Birthday Canada Glad to have good neighbors.

They don't keep things simple do they. All this digital stuff is a pain right where the sun don't shine. And that's not Newfoundland either:lol:
Yes Mark they do, What ever happened to the 4 wire thermastats that would run a relay for 20 years and an easy fix for us home owners, they are as bad as working on a new car

Back in the day you had room to work on things, even the older cars you could stand inside the engine compartment to repair things.

That's why I keep these two on the hill to fall back on, zero rust and simple two wheel drive, wish one of them was a 4X4 , but yes, I keep it simple and have extra parts here on the hill all the time

Hey FOG before you changed the fuel pump on your car what kinds of problems were you having. Was it high RPMs when it would crap out or what.

I have a fuel pressure gauge and the needle would jump around like crazy from 2 lbs. to 14 lbs. Some times it was jumping around you couldn't even see it . Engine ran ok , At higher rpm the needle would smooth out to about 4 lbs. But it never changed the rpm . Probably if I was racing or going down the highway the engine would starve of fuel.

Thanks FOG. Mine seems to be crapping out at about 5,000 rpm Tried everything I could think to find the problem but nothing yet. So I well check the fuel pump

You still have problems with that , I thought you said it was your distributor , must be some thing else then.

when I cleaned the dist. it worked fine again. but now it seems to be something else.
Could be a bad Dist. but only 2 years old but I think it may be the dist. but gonna try the cheaper things first.

Let me say good morning and let everyone know the a/c package heat pump unit I paid 500 for is up and running smoothly, 87% humidity and 97 degrees (105 in the shop) when I started it up at 2pm, well it took two hours to bring the humidity down to 57% and temp down to 77 !! felt like 60 degrees in there in my short pant's and bar feet
Memikie is a happy camper this morning
