No fun CF glad your feeling better.
Regular sight in town here, often in my front yard.
They sure are hard on the garden and can forget having a rose bush in the yard.
Next idea
Gonna put one of those spring loaded hula girls on the gas tank cap in front of the windshield.You could name her the queen of the weiner , or sausage princess

Epoxy might be too brittle for the adhesive. Silicone might work with a large contact patch. Welding would probably foul up the sealing surfaces.
