What type of gear lube do you use in your cone type sure-grips (8.75 rear). My local autozone carries this. Can I get away with a bottle of this and fill the rest with 80/90??

Say on that bottle that it works with Chrysler sure grips....

Dr Diff told me to use GM anti slip lube. When I bought all my rebuild parts for my 8 3/4 and sure grip that's what he recommended.

Ford's friction modifier is totally acceptable too. You can usually pick up a bottle at the dealer at a reasonable price.

If you read the label on that tube, at says it works in Ford...Chrysler and GM....what more do you want?

Fiat?

Just got off the phone with Auburn. They recommended either Ford or GM friction modifier. He was a really nice guy and said the only reason they couldn't recommend parts store additive is because they do their testing with the ford and GM stuff. Since I don't really have any dealers near me, I'm just gonna go with the parts store stuff. He said 3oz to a quart of 80-90.

Thanks for the input guys. I really appreciate it. And no... No Fiats here. :burnout:
