Liver and gallbladder health minute

-
We just had a friend and church member have his gall bladder removed this morning.

What symptoms did you have if I may ask? Wife had a sudden pain across the back on Sunday and by Thursday gall bladder was gone.
I was very nauseous both times I had trouble, 2018 and again in 2022. I also was absolutely freezing to death, while at the same time sweating profusely. It was worse on 2018 because I got a blood infection called klebsiella due to a gall stone causing a fissure in a bile duct. I couldn't walk 10' without having to stop and rest. When I got most of the same symptoms again in 2022, I got my butt to the Doctor quickly because I knew what was going on. They immediately scheduled me for an Endoscopy type procedure to go thru my stomach, into my intestines, then hang a right into the bile duct and yoink that gall stone out. The next week, they removed my gall bladder. The PA that assisted the surgeon told me it was the worst one she'd ever seen in one piece. I eat pretty much what I want, and just know that I'll have to go to the bathroom within an hour or so after eating. Not diarrhea, I just know that when somethings tooting for right of way, I need to let it pass! Not having a gall bladder affects people in different ways. I feel very fortunate to have that thing gone, be able to eat what I want and not have it affect me no more than it does.
