Hello everyone,
I'm a long time lurker who just joined tonight. I have a 1939 Chev Coupe, but I have been thinking of building a more driver-oriented car. I just put a deposit on a 1967 Barracuda today, picking it up on Thursday night or Friday. It's a one owner car with (supposedly) only 4X,*** miles on it. Very solid except rockers, right rear quarter and front floors (it's been sitting out next to the shed for a few years in North Dakota). It's partially disassembled, so I'm not sure exactly what I'm getting, but it's supposed to be "all there"???
I will be doing LOTS of research on here regarding chassis and engine. I have Air-Ride Technologies bags on my street rod (which I like very much) and like my cars slammed. Don't know what I will do with the Barracuda yet. Also, as far as engine, would like to go with a 6.1 with a 5 or 6 speed, but we'll see how the budget holds up.
Thanks!
