It's sad when any one passes away it's so much worse when it's a child.
They haven't real had a chance to experience life.

My nephew's and his girl friend's baby past away a little more then a year ago

Thank you for the caring responses everyone. I got into a pretty sad mood yesterday thinking about alot of family things. My prayers go out to all who have lost children here. That was always my biggest fear as a parent. I will pass on the well wishes to the family.
Today is the service.

RIP Alex :angel13:

wow so young.....and we think we have it tough... My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family...

I'm so sorry to hear of this homecloned. May he rest in peace in God's arms.

I have a very good friend with a little boy with CP, COPD and is deaf to top it off. At 9 years old, it's amazing he's still alive. Every winter hell on his mom as he ends up in the hopital and she never knows if he'll make it back out.

Sorry about your loss. I know what you are going through. It has been a rough end of the year 2009. I think that loosing a child is a lot harder though. If you need anything please let me know. I will try to help in any way that I can.

I just got back from the service for Alex. Very sad. He looked like such an innocent angel. He is in a better place now. Thank you again to all for the prayers and blessings. The pastor did a wonderful job and my sister had a nice slide show of him and his siblings. Alex touched alot of people and will be missed.

That is Alex in my avatar. :angel13:

I lost my little brother in 1975. I was 12 years old and my Brother was 5 years old at the time of his death. He was born premature(only 3-1/2 lbs) and was not expected to survive at birth and he did live 5 years. He touched so many people in those short 5 years and to this day I will always remember him for his smiling face and happy go lucky way about him. He went to the doctor on a Friday night and was gone the next morning, we found him in his bed, My Dad had died two years prior to losing my brother, and he was an alcoholic and his liver failed, but the death of my brother really affected me so much more than that of my Dad. I cried and cried and asked my Mom why? and she told me that God took him so that he would not have to suffer growing up with all of the issues he had with his health. I will never forget how much it HURT inside of me when my brother died. I am the second oldest of 7 kids and was very close to my Brother. He died of spinal meningitis and then we all ended up sick and in the hospital soon after he died (within a day) I was too sick to attend his funeral. God Bless your family and have faith in God that he is now in a better place and will never hurt again.
