other than leaving them natural.what can one do to a set to make them look good for awile..i would think paint would burn off...j
 
For exhaust manifolds......I use Eastwood high temp exhaust man paint.

Works awesome.
 
Engines, intakes, valve covers are painted so why not your intake????

He said "them." I believe he's talking about exhaust manifolds rather than an intake.

High temp ceramic coatings are going to be your best bet. I'd love to help you out with them but I got out of ceramic coatings a couple years ago ... the shipping costs were just too prohibitive for my customers.
 
There are high temp powder coats now, maybe Leanna can shed some light on this for you.

me ,id go el natural...my son hasnt learned yet...ill let him do eastwood,then he will learn..doing this whole car is about learning...thanks for alls help...j

High temp cosmetic powders are only good to about 1200 degrees at most, and we all know exhaust temps get much higher than that. They'll last for awhile but you'll eventually get the cracking, peeling and flaking we've all seen under the hood.
