We were watching the speed channel and Tony Stewart was talking about his fledging career past he mentioned his time in the "MIDGET" racing.

The wife tells me, "I looked up midget racing and I thought I was going to see midgets."

The correct term for that nowadays is "Little People"....

I prefer to use the term for them as ''vertically challenged''.
I wouldn't want to hurt their little feelings.

i think i am going to pick and choose when to correct her, and let this one go until she has the chance to hurt someone's feelings.

the funny thing is, she thought she would see little people racing

Midget racing... I bet the jockeys are really short....
