finally got time to set mine 5.7 in today,, the Doug Thorley headers fit perfect and tons of room.. (sorry its an ebody), gonna make my own motor mounts too, since a few companys i talked to said they couldnt guarantee they would fit,, since there mounts were made for TTI,, theres a bunch of room around the mounts so it will be very easy.. just waitng for my A500 to get done, should be this week.. i bolted an old 904 to make sure of clearance around the headers ( its nice to be able to set the motor where it needs to be and the headers both fit in right from the bottom)and starter, torque converter bolted right up,, so far this is going pretty smooth,, hope my HOTWIRE stuff will be here this week too.. ill post more pix as i go,,

Looks like a lot of hours were spent on that engine compartment.

:)

Keep the photos coming.

haha thx Joe. Yeah i filled alot of holes in and hid all the wiring too... It took awhile for sure.. But looks so much cleaner

Looking good!

When you do your mounts, just make sure you -

A - leave enough room for your oil boss block off plate or Dakota oil filter mount, and

B - make sure your pinion angle is good :)

I have a 45*oil filter adapter already mounted on now and stilm have good room.. Soon as my trans gets here i can finish the motor mounts and set the pinion angle.. I have it all measured out from the old trans. But will still double check and triple check the angle

Looks nice so far. I sure hate that feeling of installing a motor in from the top and scratching nice paint.

Looks nice... Good to see the Dougs headers in place on a the 5.7 .. keep the pics coming

Awesome job on the PS setup. Is that a 4.7 Durango pulley like im using? Love the ingenuity this build has.

Looks like it was made to fit in there. Speaking about power steerings, has anyone attempted to use the new electric power steering yet? I realize that this means modern rack & pinion and hemidenny or RSM k members, juste curious.

Thx alot.. I just couldn't see spending a few hundred bux for power steering.. This was real easy.. The pulley is from a 05 hemi ram. Got it from jegs for 15bux.i did have to make a keyway in it. It uses the same size shaft as the original pump, nice and easy

Thx just finished my air intake system.. Just gotta get it powder coated.. Ill get pix up later
