Is there a so called better high torque mini-starter and -is there a high temp mini-starter that is recommended when headers are being used?
I got this part number Denso #F5000-130046 from searching threads?

can't speak for any of the other makes out there but i use the mopar performance mini starter. works well and plenty of clearance. much lighter and smaller than the original. have had no problems with it.

I had a problem with fitment with the MoPar mini starter on my big block. I ended up with what looks like the same thing from Partzfinders that fit at a suggestion from a been there done that fella. To top it off, it was only $80.

I used to go through starters at a monthly basis. (318) The local auto store I used to live by asked what was up? When I told them headers.....He said hold on. Opened up the books and gave me a hi-temp 360 starter. Never had a problem since.
