Does anybody know the Moog upper and lower ball joint part #s for a '67 Barracuda v8 with factory disc brakes?

K704 upper
K7021 right lower, K7023 left lower (with disc brakes)
K785 right lower, K787 left lower (with drum brakes)

but you don't want moog, they're crap now and have been for a long time. if you must use only "NOS" or "old/dead stock" that you can find on ebay.

i recommend proforged or mevotech supreme.

Thanks for the part #s, junkyardhero.

I'll look into proforged and mevotech supreme parts as well.

@toolmanmike

Didn't you find a source for decent NOS stuff?
I found a few pieces on E bay. I will be looking to find 2 inner tie rod ends for my Polara. I have idler and pitman arm numbers handy as well. If the price isn't too bad and I find them, I may pull the trigger on those as well. Replace them all or stockpile the parts until I need them? Quite a dilemma. But like I mentioned, I haven't been underneath to see how bad the parts are.

I did buy some parts on Rockauto for my Swinger. They were AC Delco brand, made in Taiwan, but they looked very good and were precision made parts. I'll look for some pics.

Proforged lower ball joints:

101-10130 front right lower drum - available
101-10131 front left lower drum - available

101-10346 front right lower disc
101-10347 front left lower disc

Disc lower ball joints have been unavailable for some time.

Years ago I found mine on different websites. One was on Amazon, listed as a return.

Geez, over ten years ago, my Moog lower joints fell apart before installation.

I used XRFs on my build and so far, they've held up very well over the last 8 years or so. They use the same parts #s as Moog. I'm not sure if they're still available or not.

I bought a PST kit years ago for my 66 Dart. I had it rebuilt and aligned at a customers shop. It worked great. That was probably 15 years ago.

thats what i'm running on our dart. after having issues with my front end that drove me nuts for the longest time i saw posts about bad moog parts. someone here recommended the XRF ball joints. they were hard to find at the time but finally found them on ebay. sure enough a brand new moog lower ball joint was bad. . the XRF ball joints have been on the car 6 or so years now with no problems.

Good to hear. I also corrected my post to read XRF rather than XRP... old brain cells!

You can also get the drum brake lower ball joints and drill the mounting holes larger for the disc brake bolts. Takes some good quality drill bits though.

the australian stuff for small ball joint cars is also fine,
WASP RoadSAFE and OEMParts Three 555 555 (Sankei-555)
NOS would be TRW REPCO Quinton Three 555 (Sankei-555)

the lower joints will work but the angles of the lever arm differ due to the fact they were made for RHD..... just means your track rods will be adjusted slightly longer on both sides i.e few more threads showing.

if you looked up ball joints or bushes for 1971 VH valiant the kit would fit and would be of reasonable quality and a mix of australian made or made under licence in china or japan australian branded.

the Sankei stuff was/is exceedingly well regarded they are a supplier to toyota for hilux etc there is a reason those trucks get used for mounting machine guns by insurgents in war zones....robust as hell...

aussie numbering

upper ball joints for 60 61 62 BJ14
upper joints for something like a 68 BJ18
upper ball joint for a B body BJ8

lowers BJ80 and BJ81 left and right drum
Lowers BJ35 and BJ36 disk

BJ in this case means ball joint :)
