I was at a guys shop recently he had some old engine mounts off a dodge Dart that someone left there years ago...goes to the self and hands me a set of 340 biscuit mounts...take them or I'm throwing them out

No. I designed them to go on the outside. This allows a simpler mount design that doesn't require special tooling.
