I would like to move the rear back about 1 to 1.5" back to use taller tires. I would like to use 255 70 15. How is that done?
I have relocated the perches in 3/4". This is on a 72 dart swinger with a 8 3/4rear.

Move the springs inbaord and the tires should clear.
Just re-read last night that a 27 inch by 10 wide fit a Duster wheelwell.

Anybody else?

The 255 70 15 is a 29 x 10.4" tire and will hit the front fenderwell lip. I am running 265 50 15 already and they are 25.5 x 10.5". I want to go to the taller tire to slow the rpms down. I had read that someone had done this to there dart, but don't remember where.

Leaving the spring in the stock loaction, you can make 1" spacers to go between the front perch and frame.

If going with a relocation, then you drill the boxes for a 1" back location. The box below has the following locations; std, std 1" lower, 1" back, and 1" back 1" lower.
