Mopar Performance
Haven't been on in a while guys forgot my password lol.... anyways I had finished my engine and took it to the track and now messing around again and here is what I have been working on with the rad!
Old setup was HHR setup
I have all aluminum pump gas engine and car didn't over heat on the street with the HHR setup but it had a temp creep I didnt like and went to to my new setup... old setup was 27.5" single pass rad with HHR and now to 31" double pass rad with twin 14" fans now. I like the rad wells in front of core away from the heat of the aluminum engine and more capacity! hope it all works as well as I like.
more room and k member has been modified since then also. I added the strap back I cut out for the HHR fan setup to fit.
rubber mounts to help with flex and also I have a bracket I made that ties across the bumper brackets for lower support if needed.
car will be getting repainted. and yes six pack hood fits with higher filler neck.
been going slow at it but mockup is all done now time to do some detailing. I also added 1/8" metal wide strip the width of the upper core the whole way across for strength! the whole setup is real solid!
