That's a goodie. This Lisle one works pretty slick as well. Good for on the car use.

I like it because you set the compression and all are the same. Just twist the top handle. That's pretty cool. I've never seen that one before.
Right you are. I should have mentioned that. Single springs or singles with dampers.I have one like TMM posted above and one like slantsixdan posted a link to. And of the two I use and like the One TMM pictured hands down. But neither of those work for multi spring setups they won’t grab all the springs to compress them so there’s really not one do all spring compressor.
My bench one is like this, just a standard issue. If you do much head work at all these stands work great. I have a pair just for fun. I think they are around $20 a pair on amazon.

Boy they kill you on the shipping. Let me look again.

Summit has them for $33+ shipping. $43 here shipped. ARE YOU STRIPPING DOWN YOUR ENGINE? CYLINDER HEAD STANDS (PAIR) | eBayMike, do you have a link to these? I just looked around, but only came with with about $50 delivered?

I don't really like that one. Sometimes the head casting around the valve spring gets in the way, of grabbing the lowest spring coil. Then the spring will not compress enough to remove the keepers. I find the "C" clamp compressor is the most versatile.
I've always had good luck with the Parts store U-borrow-it compressor tool. Good Luck
Yeah again, like I've already said! Good Luck
When you need a valve spring compressor and the parts stores aren't lending tools due to Covid
There lending them here in MinnesotaHow do you know that, maybe north of the border?
