So I just recently bought a 360 that I'm going through believe its an 89-92 block/head. I'm getting ready to have all the machine work done and need some advice on how far I should take these things. Does anyone have or know if they have porting templates or what areas benefit the most grinding from. I'm looking to do these fairly low buck because I'm spending all my cash on my other motor build. I recently bought a new roller cam for it from whitepunk very mild and am slapping in some flat tops. Aside from that its going to be a real mild street and maybe a 1/4 blast here and there in my 65 hardtop. If I'm shelling out a grand to make these work good ill just buy some eddys. All imput is greatly appreciated. If you know some helpful links that would be appreciated to

Oh yea, valve springs, which are sufficient with a roller cam right at .500? Thanks.

The heads will need to be done for performance anyway - so I'd say either commit, or replace. If you do them, have the work done by a shop that uses cutters and give them a 5-angle valve job. I like larger valves - 2.02 intake and 1.65 exh at minimum. You will need to have the guides cut for positive seals and the spring seats cut for double springs. I know of no performance rollers that don't need dual springs but they might exist. Consult the manufacturer's catalog for the matching valve springs. From what you're building - I'd just use those 308s or sell them (they are a very good base for performance building) and get a set of EQ Magnums with the LA intake pattern. They'll work fine too with the right spring package.
