Hi Guys ! when we bought the cuda to the past owner ..he said he was lowering is mopars with a screw driver !! by adjusting something under the car , in the front suspension...what is it , can it be the torsion bars or something ? my cuda is too low and needs to be raised up only in the front..but the funny thing is that the guy did it in seconds and was on is knees to lover the car ,,never needed a lift.. i need to know what part/screw he was playing with !!! hope you guys have an idea !! thx a lot

that would be a torsion bar adjusting bolt..located in the lower control arm. using a 3/4" socket. but usually when ya mess with the ride height, you change the alignment specs and should have it re-aligned...

He was adjusting the torsion bars at the adjuster with a 3/4inch socket, not a screwdriver LOL.
Jack the front up and give it about 4 full rotations, let the car down, roll in reverse, then forward. If not enough height, adjust more til height desired.good Luck.:D

unless he had some kind of hydraulic or electric super automatic torsion bar adjusting screw mechanism set-up, they have to be adjusted manually with a ratchet and a socket using the adjuster bolt inside the lower control arm.

you guys are quick lol

The guys above have this covered. Especially the part about getting the front end re-aligned after raising/lowering the front. The front height should b e the first thing done before aligning the car.

and...............as petty pointed out adjust them with the FRONT WHEELS off the ground

having the weight off of the suspension makes it easier to turn the adjusters, possibly eliminating stripping the threads in the adjusters...

Well you could strip the threads out on the adjusters going up you might get away with going down but not up
