New addition, 66 Barracuda

Hi everyone,

Just picked up a 66 Barracuda for the wife. It'll be her new toy. 273 A/T.

Got a couple questions. I know that Auto Specialities carries the rear clips, anyone know of a source for front fenders? Valiant fenders are the same, yes?

Neither is really that bad at this point but if I could locate a fender to put away for the future, I'd be up for that.

Heater controls. Apparently, they stopped working on this car and there was an aftermarket switch wired in under dash. Is there anyone out there making new ones? Does the 66 share parts with later years?

I dont think anyone makes fenders. I bet the heater parts are the same for 64-66 Barracuda and Valaint.

If its just the switch, it should be the same on several years/models.

I'm going through it right now to clean up some of the 38 years of mickey mouse repairs.

brake pads installed BACKWARDS.
wrong fitting used on brake line patch.

She's a beauty! That's a clean looking little keeper. Hope you both enjoy it. Are you going to change to a dual master. Had a shoe retainer pin break on my '66 Formula S. Shoe moved, piston came out of wheel cyl.=no brakes. Of course it was late at night, in the mountains, and had a few barley Pops. :drunken:
